Brand Descriptions for Early Buy
Dejno’s Fuel Pellets- a hardwood / softwood mix with test results averaging 8300 BTU/lb. These pellets are low dust, low fines and have a low ash volume when burned. Available in bags and bulk.
Vulcan– Hardwood Pellets- a hardwood pellet made from mostly Oak and Maple with test results averaging 8200 BTU/lb. These pellets are low dust, low fines and have an average ash volume when burned for hardwood pellets. Available in bags and bulk.
Vulcan – Softwood Pellets- made from quality Canadian Pine with occasional Aspen with test results averaging 8600 BTU/lb. These pellets are low dust, low fines and a lower ash volume typical of when softwood pellets are burned. Available in bags and bulk.
Rocky Mountain Wood Pellets- made from Lodge Pole Pine (Beetle Kill Wood) of Colorado with test results averaging 8400 BTU/lb. These pellets are low dust, low fines and the low ash volume when burned that people have come to expect from softwood pellets. The production and use of these pellets helps to manage and prevent a huge wildfire that is likely to someday happen in the western states of Colorado and Wyoming. Available only in bags.
Dejno’s Bedding Pellets- not designed to be used for heat, these Pine pellets are intended to be used for animal bedding. The very low dust and few fines in these pellets are a safe and efficient way to care for pets large and small. Their super absorbency and fresh Pine scent helps keep away less pleasant odors. Available in bags and bulk.
Bagged Pellets : Bagged pellets are ordered and picked up or delivered by the ton. We are able to deliver bagged pellets several ways. Orders can be hand unloaded, on pallets that you take off trailer (must have own forklift / skid loader with forks, etc.), or we can bring our lift along and place them on your location. We can also bring a pallet jack with the lift to move pallets in a garage or shed with a concrete floor.
Bulk Pellets : Bulk pellets are ordered and picked up by the ton. We do not yet have a standardized way to make bulk deliveries. If you have questions, please talk to Dale before you make a bulk order.
Other Fuels
Cherry Pits: taking orders for this summer’s crop. Last year was our first year drying cherry pits our-selves. With that experience, we look forward to the coming year. But since weather plays such a large role in the cherry crop, we have no idea of the volume of pits we will have available for the next heating season. Orders are filled in the order that they are received. Once ready, a customer has 7 days to make arrangements to receive their order, or it will be forfeited to the next person in line. Available in bags and bulk.
Shelled Corn: corn is an excellent fuel source, but due to its recently higher price, and rapid price changes, we can only price corn on a daily basis. If you are interested in burning corn, please talk to Dale to get you the best price. Available in bags and bulk.
